The Ebb & Flow Series The Ebb & Flow series of four workshops is designed to bring awareness to your body’s rhythm and clearer understanding to feminine cycles. With a focus specifically on hormonal changes experienced throughout perimenopause into menopause, this series is intended to bring knowledge, rhythm, and grace to the natural process into the 3rd Stage of Womanhood. This series is open to any level of yoga experience and any stage of womanhood.  Creating Space & Grace Take time to clear your mind and awaken your inner creativity and confidence. This workshop is designed to open space within the body through the torso from hips to shoulders to create a sense of openness, rhythm, and calm. Through this workshop you’ll learn techniques for creating clarity, calm and well-being while lifting “brain fog”, decluttering the mind and doing “Spring Cleaning” for your body and mind.  The physical asana practice focuses on hip, spine, and shoulder alignment with a specific focus on how the abdominal muscles can engage to create space and lessen/alleviate low back and shoulder aches.  Through this workshop you’ll receive: • An asana practice (physical movement) to create space and awareness through the hips, solar plexus region, and chest/shoulders opening these areas for creating space to spark creativity and clarity. • Breathing techniques and mudras (hand yoga) to give a sense of calm and an awareness of the nervous system and how breathing effects it. • Developing your own 10-minute daily practice and wellness journal to be in tune with your body’s rhythm. • A safe environment to be curious, share and ask questions.  About the Ebb & Flow Series: The stages of the feminine cycle are natural and different for every woman. Your body knows exactly what it is doing. Yes, there are changes that can feel uncomfortable from hot flashes to irritability, irregular menses and changing body shape, to overwhelming anxiety and migraine headaches. It doesn’t have to be a negative experience. Shifting your mind to loving-acceptance to live “with” your body in lieu of “against” your body and understanding your own natural rhythm to better listen within to prepare yourself for a new season of growth, expansion, creativity and wellness.  The Ebb & Flow Series is designed to assist and equip women with a graceful and positive view of the natural changes that occur through menopause and breaking down barriers of shame and stereotypes around a natural body process.
